		<description>The Arawaks were not driven away. The women intermarried with the Carib men. Modern day Kalinago people are a mix of Arawak and Carib, and the language is an Arawakan language. Linguists used to call it "Island Carib" but in the language of the Kalinago the name is Karifuna. The name Waitukubuli is made up of 2 Arawak words and can be translated to mean "Its/her body is tall" or "Its/her body is long" or "Its/her body is big."</description>
